Almighty God, Heavenly Father, you have blessed us with the joy and care of children: Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as we bring them up, that we may teach them to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. ‐ "Prayer for the Care of Children," Book of Common Prayer, p. 829 |

Christian education is a large part of this formation process and provides opportunities for children, youth and adults to develop and grow in their faith. |

Programs for Adults
Adult Bible Study Adult Bible study meets on Tuesday evenings in the fall and during Lent/Spring. A soup and salad supper from 6:00 – 6:30 is followed by the study from 6:30 – 7:30 or perhaps a little later. Recent studies have included the Acts, the Psalms, the Gospel of Mark, and the Lord’s Prayer. The Gospel of Luke study begins on Tuesday, September 22, the first day of fall, so come fall in love with God’s Word again and join us.
Yahweh Sisterhood Bible Study
The Yahweh Bible Study meets the second and fourth Monday evenings during the academic year in the Chapel for discussion of the Sunday Lectionary readings.

Tips for Teens Christian teens today face influence at every turn. Advertisers tell you that, if you use their product, you will become popular or attractive. Peers tell you how this drug or that drink will make you feel better. Teachers want you to study harder and longer to become smarter. Sometimes it makes even the most well-adjusted Christian teen question if he or she is good enough. Remember, Christ paid a price for you because He loves you - just as you are. Stay true to Him, focus on Him, and allow the rest to fall away. Hebrews 12:15 - "Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many." |
